Things to Do
Restaurants
Most don’t take reservations and sometimes there can be long waits! Get there before 545pm, is our recommendation. We like Blue Moose or Daylight Donuts for easy breakfast. Blue Stag Saloon has great options for people with dietary restrictions. Our kids like Stir Pan Creamery ice cream because it’s unique.
Groceries
City Market is the largest option nearby (part of the Kroger chain).
There is a Whole Foods in Frisco.
Shopping
Big Box retailers - your best bet is Silverthorne (Target, etc)
Hiking & Mountain Biking
Please follow all trail guidelines and be environmentally responsible. Pack out when you take in, and give wildlife a wide berth. Bears, moose and rattlesnakes could be encountered at any point, so be watchful and aware of your surroundings. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable and changes frequently. Be prepared for anything!
Parking is not always available near the trailheads. Please consider taking a shuttle if possible, or parking at a lot in town and walking to the trailhead. Do not park on private property (and in Blue River, street parking is prohibited).
In addition to suggestions below, we love the AllTrails app!
